Your 15 note cards are due at the end of the block on Thursday. You'll have half the block to work on them. If that's not enough time, it's up to you to work on them outside of class.

4. Argumentative Thesis Statement Worksheet--> put your thesis to the test to determine if it passes all four of our argumentative rules. If not, revise it!
 Your Note Card assignment is due at the end of the block on Thursday (please note that it has been pushed back a day). You will have time on Tuesday to work, but work on this at home if needed!

2. Take a look at the 1984 Research Paper Assignment Sheet. This contains all of the assignment explanations and due dates, in case you need to plan ahead.
3.Quick review of MLA Format and Annotated Bibliographies. Click here for a great example of an annotated bib.
4. Work time and conferences. Today's focus should be accumulating sources to use. You should have at least 2-3 by the end of the block.

Your annotated bib is due at the end of the block on Tuesday. You will have work time on Tuesday, but if you don't think that will be sufficient, work on it over the weekend!
