Hello My Name Is.. Coach McVey

I'm excited to be part of the tremendous Lakewood staff after having taught in Jeffco
for 20 years. I was born and raised in Lakewood and attended Jeffco Schools. I will be teaching Broadcast Production (TigerTV) and 12th grade Research and Technical Writing. 
I love teaching students reading and writing skills that they can embrace for life
and that's one of my goals for your student: to inspire them to become a life-long learner. Specific course information is in google classroom - which will allow you to
find my assignments, due dates, links to documents and any other items that will be needed to succeed in my class.
I am also proud to serve as the Varsity girls golf coach, so when I'm not teaching, grading, conferencing, planning or meeting, you can probably find me on the golf course!
