COVID 19 Updates

The LHS counseling department wants to assure you that we are available to support students and families throughout the 20 -21 school year regardless of whether students are learning remotely, participating in a hybrid learning experience or 100% in person. We are working diligently to provide the resources, support and programming to help your student thrive; however, given the restrictions imposed by COVID 19, things will look a little different this year. As the year progresses, our processes might change but for the time being, please be aware of the following guidelines:

1) If you or your student needs help, please reach out to the appropriate counselor. Click here for counselor and social worker contact information.

2) We are planning to offer much of the same programming for students and families that we have offered in the past, however, due to health precautions, we expect much of it will look different with some programs moving into a virtual format only.
3) Support balanced with safety (for both students and staff) is of utmost importance to us.
4) Students will be expected to wear masks and keep six feet of social distance when interacting with the counseling staff.
5) The number of students in the counseling office at one time will be monitored and limited.
Students may be required to interact virtually or by phone with their counselor.
