MISC NON-COLLEGE BASED PROGRAMS:

CAREER WEEK FOR GIRLS: TRANSPORTATION AND CONSTRUCTION GIRL
Five Days Can Change a Life! The HOYA Foundation started Career Week for GIRLs  to encourage more young women to pursue careers in transportation and construction.  Why?  Because only 10% of the construction work force is women.  That fact carries economic implications and substantial opportunities.

Over one week, girls – ranging from 13 to 20 years old – make five stops to engage with women, ask questions and tour work sites.  Each company puts together a day long insight into their company and into the industry.

June 20th - 24th or July 11th - 15th

COLORADO WELLNESS CENTER FOR GIRLS SUMMER SESSIONS:
Through our various activities, students learn new ways to cope with their emotions, the impact nutrition has on mental health, utilize mind/body connection techniques and experience the outdoors. Open to girls ages 12 - 17.

FRONT RANGE THEATRE COMPANY: SUMMER THEATRE EDUCATION CAMP
A non-profit summer theatre education camp located in Parker. They produce musical theatre for Kindergarten - College Seniors in two-week intensives. They have opportunities for students to participate in full-length productions this summer. Their June 2022 Triple Threat season, they are producing Mamma Mia! for Outgoing 9th - Outgoing College Seniors and Frozen Jr. for Outgoing Kindergarten - Outgoing 8th Grade. HS NAVIGATOR YOUNG SCHOLAR PROGRAM (VIRTUAL)
The HS Navigator Young Scholars Program strives to engage academically talented students with a
strong desire to pursue careers in Computer Science, Medicine, Business or related areas. The program incorporates a lecture series, research exposure experiences, and networking opportunities. Participants will work on live projects on a variety of latest Information Technology field areas. It is a remote 5-Weekend online program where every weekend will consist
of 2-4 hrs. webinar.


ROCKY MOUNTAIN CONSERVANCY: HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP CORP
An 11-day experience in Rocky Mountain National Park dedicated to fostering leadership development and personal growth in teenagers. At its core, this program is intended for Colorado high school students who have been deprived of meaningful outdoor experiences because of their economic abilities or social factor that has obstructed their access to outdoor recreation. The purpose of the HSLC is to educate and empower a diversity of students to become more self-confident and teamwork-oriented citizens while getting a glimpse of career opportunities in the National Parks Service and similar organizations.

Emphasizing values of environmental stewardship and appreciation, personal leadership, and outdoor education, the HSLC is a truly immersive experience that will certainly be a highlight of any high schooler’s summer. Over the course of the 11-day session, students will assist in National Park Service conservation projects, participate in a variety of leadership development trainings, and gain useful camping skills and experience.

Participants will receive a $400 stipend upon completion of the program. Additionally, the Rocky Mountain Conservancy provides housing (camping), work clothing, and gear for the duration of the HSLC experience.

2021-2022 SUMMER PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM FAIRS:

Fairs, a series of virtual events that provide students and their families the opportunity to learn about academic summer programs at top US colleges and universities. At each fair, attendees may visit virtual booths, where you can ask questions via text or video chat with summer program representatives.

ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY: CAMPS AT CRONKITE

Our summer enrichment camps allow high schoolers to dive head-first into media at the Cronkite School. By day, Cronkite faculty, staff and student counselors lead campers in hands-on learning in our state-of-the-art building on ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus; then, campers retreat across the street to Taylor Place, our residential dormitory, for supervised R&R. Social Media Boot Camp; Media Innovation Camp; Summer Journalism Institute; Sports Broadcast Boot Camp. 


BALL STATE UNIVERSITY: INTERIOR DESIGN SUMMER WORKSHOP
The Youth Interior Design Forum (YIDF) is a workshop open to high school students of any grade level and gives them the opportunity to experience interior design firsthand. The workshop blends tradition and innovation in creative learning, covering areas in applied critical thinking and exploration with materials. During the workshop, students explore the fundamentals of 2D and 3D concepts, learn basic drawing and illustration skills, play with color use and light effects, and learn how interior environments affect human behavior. Upon completion, students will have a portfolio of work (a required component for the application for many accredited college interior design programs), an official certificate of completion, and a waiver for an interior design 3-credit hour elective course if the student decides to apply and major in Interior Design at Ball State University.  


BANSON NYC IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL FASHION CAMPS FOR SUMMER 2022
Banson NYC was founded in November, 2008 to provide students with a "real life" tour experience of the fashion industry in New York City.  Holland Grumieaux, President/Founder, spent almost twenty years in this field prior to launching Banson NYC.  She personally designs 1-5 day itineraries in New York that complement the learning experience in the classroom.


BARNARD COLLEGE PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS:
Each year Barnard’s Office of Pre-College Programs invites young women from across the globe to join us in one of our academic enrichment programs in the humanities, STEM, leadership, writing, coding and more. This Summer, we are excited to bring our summer programs back in-person and on-campus in New York City. Whether your student wants to spend their summer uncovering the elegance of physics, debating United Nations policy, perfecting your poetry, earning college credit, or learning to code — we have a program for them! 


BOSTON COLLEGE SUMMER TERM 
BU’s long-running Summer Term pre-college offerings include a choice of one-, two-, three-, and six-week programs that prepare you for success in college. With five exciting and challenging pre-college summer programs to choose from, you can earn college credit, discover a new subject area, perform cutting-edge research in University labs, or immerse yourself in hands-on learning. Summer is a great time to push yourself academically while experiencing college life, making new friends, and engaging in fun social activities around Boston and on campus. We invite you to join other motivated teens from 50 states and 87 countries in our summer programs for high school students—a great introduction to college life and academics. 


BOSTON UNIVERSITY SUMMER JOURNALISM ACADEMY
The Summer Journalism Academy at Boston University gives students ages 14 to 18 the opportunity to expand their skills and prepare for college, either through a residential experience on campus or through remote instruction from home. Each academy instructor is also a working journalist, so what’s taught is grounded in real-life experience. Each lesson is tied to its practical application, by giving students actual reporting assignments. Each day is a sample of life as a news reporter.


BOSTON UNIVERSITY: ACADEMY OF MEDIA PRODUCTION
Creative high school students develop their cinematic and journalistic storytelling skills producing films, videos, visual effects, webcasts and more. 


BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY: BUCKNELL ACAEMY SUMMER EXPERIENCE
a collaborative residential experience where students are invited to explore the value of a liberal arts perspective in making challenging decisions to improve today’s world. At BASE, students will experience interdisciplinary study from top tier professors while challenging their thought processes. This year’s theme is The Anthropocene: How have humans permanently changed the planet, and what do we do about it?

CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS
For over 100 years, Carnegie Mellon has offered students unique and hands-on educational programs from the fine arts to technology and everything in between. Through Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Programs, rising juniors and seniors in high school have the opportunity to experience a world-class education on a beautiful, vibrant college campus. CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM

Summer is a perfect time for motivated high school students to start thinking about college. Case Western Reserve University offers an online pre-college program to help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. The summer application period is now open. By participating in our courses, a student can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career.


COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY PRE-COLLEGE SUMMER PROGRAM

Apply now to secure a spot in Columbia University’s Pre-college summer program. The program offers exceptional students the opportunity to experience the college classroom through course offerings that are engaging and rigorous, meet like-minded peers, and explore New York City through co-curricular activities.


DENISON UNIVERSITY: YOUNG WRITERS WORKSHOP
The workshop is an eight-day residential program that incorporates small creative writing workshops, group sessions with Denison creative writing faculty and notable visiting writers, and much more.

Only 48 students get the chance to come to the Hill to participate each June. That means students experience small, intimate writing workshops and one-on-one interactions with people who have made writing their career. It's a great way to connect with a close-knit community of writing teachers, mentors, and peers from around the world.


DREXEL UNIVERSITY SUMMER INSTITUTES
Drexel's summer academic programs are summer camps open to highly motivated high school students who wish to explore what a university-level program is all about. Workshops are led by Drexel faculty and utilize Drexel's labs, facilities, and the city of Philadelphia's many resources.


FRANKLIN UNIVERSITY SWITZERLAND: SUMMER PROGRAMS
Study in Switzerland this summer! Open to University Students and Graduating High School Seniors. See Summer Programs for details about the upcoming summer session. Applications for summer programs will be accepted starting November 1. Deadline for application is May 15 for Summer Session 1 and June 15 for Summer Session 2.


GEORGETOWN PRE-COLLEGE ONLINE COURSES

 At Georgetown, we believe that you're more than a mind. You're an individual with unique talents, dreams, and passions. Our long-held Jesuit tradition of cura personalis means "care for the whole person," and our goal in creating these new online courses is to provide a holistic experience for you. As an individual with unique talents, dreams and passions, you deserve the opportunity to develop and refine what makes you you. If you are intrigued by a certain subject and would like to explore it in-depth before college, here is your chance. Georgetown University now offers pre-college online courses for high school students ages 13 and older. Each features dynamic video lessons by renowned Georgetown faculty and access to  mentors. The program is available year-round, and the online format enables you to study anywhere, anytime, at your own pace.


GETTYSBURG COLLEGE: SUMMER PROGRAMS
Gettysburg College is excited to offer several opportunities for high school students over the summer months. Subjects include psychology, creative writing, Eisenhower Institute's Civil Engagement or Civil War Era Studies as well as a variety of sports camp — learn more about our summer programming here!


GUILFORD COLLEGE: RISE
A three-week residential experience where participants will live and learn on the Guilford College campus in Greensboro, N.C. Taking part will allow them to interact with a diverse group of students from across the country! This year's dates are June 27 through July 15, 2022, and applications are being accepted. They will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the priority decision deadline is May 1. They can apply today at this link.

JOHNS HOPKINS EXPLORE ENGINEERING INNOVATION
Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation offers a collection of specialized pre-college programs for high-achieving math and science students. This summer, we’re back with our popular in-person summer program, Explore Engineering Innovation (In-Person), at campuses in multiple locations. And for those who prefer an online option, Explore Engineering Innovation (Online) will be offered as a synchronous, class, or check out our thought-provoking Biomedical Engineering Innovation course. Registration is now open.


LANDMARK COLLEGE: PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS WHO LEARN DIFFERENTLY

Landmark College summer programs are great, short-term opportunities for students who learn differently to boost their academic skills and prepare for the fall semester while having fun making new friends in beautiful southern Vermont.

Financial aid is available in most programs to qualifying students.
A diagnosed learning disability is not required to participate in our summer programs.


LEHIGH UNIVERSITY: IOCOCCA GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTENSIVE
IGEI offers students an intensive summer experience where international and U.S. high school students come together in a collaborative digital environment for learning opportunities, workshops, and design labs, which will strengthen their skills in leadership, entrepreneurial design thinking, and global citizenship. The activities include:

A real consulting team project to solve a challenge for an international client.
College-level workshops with Lehigh faculty, global entrepreneurs, and expert professionals.
A “deep dive” into a chosen focus area of Sustainability, Population Health, or Product Design.
A personal strengths-based leadership assessment and coaching workshop.
Cultural exchange, virtual tours, and fun activities with your virtual roommate, fellow IGEI-ers from around the world, and Lehigh University student mentors.

The IGEI program runs from June 27 - July 22, with both synchronous and asynchronous activities occurring each weekday. LUMIERE EDUCATION: RESEARCH SCHOLAR PROGRAM
Founded by Harvard and Oxford researchers, the Lumiere Research Scholar Program offers students the opportunity to work 1-on-1 with a PhD mentor to learn about the cutting edge in their field of interest and produce an independently-developed research project. 


MIAMI UNIVERSITY

A selective program that provides a rich, early college experience for academically talented rising high school juniors and seniors from across the globe. Students will get a glimpse of life on campus as they dive into a specific academic program with faculty and other students who share their interests.


NAVAL ACADEMY SUMMER STEM:
Thinking of a career as a coder, game developer, designer, or robotics engineer? Then start with the experience of a world-class program like the Naval Academy’s Summer STEM Program.

STEM is all about exploring, creating, building, and making things better, and at our Summer STEM Program, you’ll do just that. You’ll work with students from all over the country as you test your problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills.

The application will close on March 31, 2022.


NORWICH UNIVERSITY: FUTURE LEADERS CAMP
FLC is a two-week, military-style, summertime adventure experience that builds understanding of small-group leadership techniques, leadership ethics, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. Participants will encounter challenge, excitement, and fun. Activities include rappelling, paintball, first-aid, classroom instruction, a challenge course, and more. Teams are led by current Norwich University students and professional leaders to ensure expert instruction and a life-changing experience. 


NORWICH UNIVERSITY: ESPORTS CAMP
Our Esports Camp will be virtual this year. The Camp will take place from July 16-23, 2022, and will include Rainbow 6: Siege, League of Legends, Apex Legends, CS:GO, Rocket League, Valorant, and Overwatch. This camp is free to all, and attendees may earn a $250 scholarship to Norwich for participating!

PARSONS PARIS ONLINE FASHION COURSES
Want to delve into the world of fashion before you decide what you’ll study in college? Parsons Paris has created online courses for students 13 and up to introduce you to this vibrant field. Taught by experts in Paris fashion through video lectures, courses cover everything from business, history, and trends to actual design methods and potential careers. Multi-length courses are available year-round. The asynchronous, online format allows you to study anywhere, anytime, at your own pace. You will also receive valuable guidance from Parsons' mentors.


PRATT INSTITUTE: PRECOLLEGE PROGRAMS
As one of the world's top-ranked art, design, and architecture colleges, Pratt is the place for students to explore principles of design, get immersed in fine art, and build a portfolio of artwork. For those intending to major in art, design, architecture, or a related area in college, this is a valuable chance to build the portfolio of work that will serve as an important component of their college application process.


RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: PREFACE 
PREFACE is a summer program for talented students who have been historically under-represented in science, engineering, and the technological fields, and who express a strong, early interest in pursuing careers in these areas. This year’s program will take place virtually weekdays, Monday, June 27 through Tuesday, July 12, 2022 (12 days). The PREFACE Program is for students who will be entering the 11th or 12th grade in the fall. Interested candidates should review the information on the PREFACE website and complete the online application.

Each of our programs give students the opportunity to explore a college major and test drive the college experience. UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO:SUMMER SESSION
The University of Chicago’s summer pre-college programs draw from the multidisciplinary emphasis and intellectual richness of the College’s Core curriculum. We offer a variety of courses in diverse subject areas and engagement levels that match any motivated high school student. For Summer 2022, we will host both residential programs and online courses, including:

Immersion: Through workshop discussions, research projects, and other activities, students live on campus and immerse themselves within a specific topic through three-week-long undergraduate-level courses for pre-college students designed by UChicago faculty and instructors. Course subjects include astrophysics, biotechnology, coding, data science, economics, literature, molecular engineering, political science, psychology, and more.

Summer Language Institute: Through this online program, students can learn an entire year of a language in one summer! Whether they want to continue learning a language or pick up a new one, the Summer Language Institute is a great way to delve deeply into another culture and another world and acquire a useful skill. With over 10 languages offered at varying levels, students are sure to find a language that speaks to them.

Scholarship Programs: Talented and motivated students have the opportunity to enroll in a college-level course free of charge through our scholarship programs, such as Emerging Rural Leaders, Latin American Phoenix Scholars, Neubauer Family Adelante Summer Scholars, Police & Fire Summer Scholars, the UWC Global Academy, and Woodson Summer Scholars. Our selected scholarship students will also benefit from co-curricular programming to prepare them for the highly selective admissions process. And we are excited to launch one-week non-credit Enrichment Programs that offer younger high school students the opportunity to live on campus and learn about economics, freedom of expression, leadership, or quantum physics.



UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN: SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
The UCD High School Summer Program is an enrichment program designed specifically for North American students who are interested in learning more about Irish history and culture and may be considering the possibility of applying to universities in Ireland for their undergraduate degrees. Through a series of taught lectures and interactive workshops at UCD, we introduce students to the academic culture in Ireland and the variety of subjects they can study. We also introduce students to Ireland's rich history and cultural identity through field trips around Dublin and the Irish countryside. At the end of the two weeks, we hope the students will have found that the academic programs and vibrant cultural heritage will be a great fit for future studies. July 6 - 21, 2022.


UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, DENVER 2022 LYNX NATIONAL ARTS & MEDIA CAMPS
The LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are summer immersion programs for high school students interested in music and the arts hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus and sponsored by the CU Denver College of Arts & Media. The camps are designed to provide students with an educational preview of the college programs offered in the College of Arts & Media while also providing students with an inspiring and memorable summer camp experience. They host high school students from many different states and countries at the camps which enables a diverse and enriching experience as students bond over a shared passion for the arts.


UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE: EDGE SUMMER COLLEGE PROGRAM

The Edge summer college program at the University of Delaware offers exclusive opportunities to engaged and talented high school sophomores and juniors across the country. Students have the chance to live and learn on one of the most engaging college campuses on the East Coast.


UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER PRE-COLLEGE ONLINE PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
If you have a passion for a certain subject and would like to explore it before college, here is your chance to do so—with one of the world's leading research universities. The Rochester Pre-College Online Program offers courses designed for high school students ages 13 and up. Each course features engaging video by Rochester faculty and access to mentors. 


UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN: BADGER SUMMER SCHOLARS
Badger Summer Scholars is a two-week program in which students attend a college-level seminar in a topic of their choice, taught by UW-Madison instructors. Students also participate in the Jump Forward series, a workshop series on how to prepare for college, including topics on the admissions process, navigating college, career exploration and more. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions in a small group setting during Q&A sessions featuring the same UW-Madison professionals who assist incoming undergraduates.


WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY ONLINE IMMERSION PROGRAM
Wake Forest University offers pre-college online courses to help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. The summer application period is now open. Through participating in our courses, students can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career. 


WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS: SUMMER PROGRAMS:
Our summer programs offer highly motivated students the opportunity to experience WashU in the classroom and beyond.


WEST POINT: SUMMER LEADERS EXPERIENCE

Juniors, now is the time to act! Apply to our Summer Leaders Experience by March 15th to take a behind the scenes look at West Point and see how we develop leaders of character.  This weeklong immersive on-campus experience runs May 28 – June 3, and June 4 – June 10, 2022.  There is no fee to apply, and generous need-based scholarships are available. Standardized test scores are not required, but the ideal applicant has a strong academic background and participates in team sports and other extracurricular activities. Note: When you apply for SLE you are also submitting an admissions screening application.


WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: FRONTIERS and FRONTIERS FOR CREDIT
Frontiers is 2- or 4-weeks of hands-on classes, labs, and exploration of humanities. Students will get the chance to experience campus to the fullest and enjoy living on campus and participating in extra-curricular activities with peers from around the globe.

Frontiers for Credit is a 5-week program designed to spark your scientific curiosity while receiving official college credit. Take college level courses with our world-renowned faculty from anywhere in the world!

Launch: For rising 9th and 10th graders. Our in-person Launch program provides students the opportunity to build in-demand skills, engage with like-minded students, and dive into a STEM discipline of their choosing at WPI's state-of-the-art campus.
