The Lakewood student will graduate this spring, and if that’s not an accomplishment itself, she’s also worked hard during the fall season while maintaining her grades. She put in lots of effort and made this difficult feat seem easy.

Cassidy is a prime example of what the Lakewood community is all about and expresses this through her hard work and dedication.

Cassidy says that “the friend and support systems that I have gained through getting involved at Lakewood have been invaluable to my high school experience.” She mentions the strong bonds that she's made throughout her years at Lakewood, and says that this school has had a lot of influence on the person that she has become.

Cassidy’s diligence has paid off, mentioning having four varsity letters in cheer and an All American award. On top of that, she has two academic letters with the academic All State first team achievement award from CHSAA and is Vice President of Choir.

Cassidy encourages everyone to get involved in their high school experience.

She says, “Lakewood has had a lot of influence on the person I have become. Over these past four years I have gained quite a few role models in the form of older students, teachers, coaches, and admin members.”

When one is involved in more than one activity, it's common to become stressed out.

From doing all these activities, Cassidy has learned “the importance of managing my time and the responsibility that I have gained” through participating in so many activities.

Doing all of this can be demanding, Cassidy says, but it’s worth all of the benefits that have been gained through these programs.
