This past week, Lakewood High School theater students earned eleven nominations for Bobby G Awards, the "Oscars" of Colorado Theater. Our students were in full force at the Eliie Caulkins Opera House and cast presented the finale from Sweeney Todd. The performance was powerful!
In addition, Trey Kochevar and Cameron Marter performed as part
of a medley for students who were selected for best male and female lead actors... and they were impressive as well!
Lakewood took home some hardware throughout the evening as the following people and teams were awarded Bobby G Awards:
- Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design: Camille Gionet, Kaila Govan, and Alyssa Mader

- Outstanding Achievement in Choreography: Angie Dryer
- Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role: Will Warner
- Outstanding Achievement in Direction: Tami LoSasso
It was a fun evening and our students and staff represented Lakewood honorably, humorously, and humbly. We are very proud. Kudos!
