Melissa Elliott

Melissa studied medicine at Penn State and continued to act in their theatre program, starring as Belle in Beauty and the Beast among other roles.  In high school. she worked as an assistant at the Denver Center Theatre Education Department.  Currently, she's in the medical field. "In the LHS Theatre Company I learned to harness my previous strengths while learning and exploring technique that made me not only a better actor but a better student.  You learn most about yourself and humanity in general..."

Ryan Cameron
Memorable Roles: Horace Vandergelder, Hello Dolly!, Victor Emanuel, A Flea in Her Ear; The Caterpillar, Alice in Wonderland
Ryan studied engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.  A lover of music, Ryan hopes to continue the pursuit of his first passion: jazz.

Bonnie Evans

Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she was a member of the highly selective Mile 21 Acapella group and acted in The Vagina Monologues. She currently lives in Pennsylvania where she works at PULSE: Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience.

Grady Jensen
Memorable Roles: Ensemble, the Complete History of America Abridged; Inspector Kemp, Young Frankenstein
Grady studied theatre at Northwestern University in Illinois.  He was highly active on stage at the University, appearing in everything from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum to Theatre for Young Audiences.

Hunter Benjamin
Memorable Roles: Dr. Frankenstein, Young Frankenstein; Javert, Les Miserables; Daniel Kaffee, A Few Good Men
Hunter is a member of the highly selective Acting program at the University of Northern Colorado and recently starred as Mr. Darcey in their production of Pride and Prejudice.  He currently resides in L.A. and is successfully working in commercial work. 

Ellen Bradford
Memorable Roles: Alice, Alice in Wonderland; Costume Designer for Young Frankenstein and Les Miserables
Ellen attended SUNY Purchase and studied costume design.  She has shared her talents with LHS both on and off stage, and currently lives in New York and works at Tricorne Costumes.

Graeme Schulz

Graeme is a graduate of the musical theatre program at the University of Northern Colorado where he played many roles including his starring role in Tribes. Graeme has found success working at theatres across Colorado and currently works in the field of Marketing.

Eric Hernandez
Memorable Roles: Ensemble in Kiss Me Kate, Jekyll and Hyde, Chicago
Eric is an independent filmmaker and also works for Rocky Mountain PBS. He attended Elon University to study film and late in his undergraduate work, entered a film competition in which he created the winning film featuring Pepsi products that runs before the beginning of movies in AMC movie theaters across the country. "
Being able to relate and communicate with actors through shared experiences and proper language, enables me to be more efficient on set, and to achieve a higher quality product and performance."


Olivia Marin

Olivia studied at the University of New Mexico where she put down roots and now performs professionally around the state and country as a Flamenco dancer.

Brett Conrad
Memorable Roles:  Freddy Benson, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels; Amos Hart, Chicago
Brett served as the Technical Director at the Rochester Civic Theatre in Minnesota.  "From Lakewood, I was able to grasp acting techniques that have not only fostered my work on stage. The level of dedication among the participants in the LHS Theatre Company is something that I have never been able to rediscover and i miss it dearly.  I am proud that my roots started in such a firm place."

Ryan Pearce
Memorable Roles: Police Officer, Rumors; Improv Master of "Breakfast Cereal for Dummies"
Ryan is currently employed at Rocky Mountain Regents, a company dealing with scientific solutions.  You may know him best for his work as the pizza employee in the Blackjack pizza commercials.

2010

George Arvidson
Memorable Roles:  Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde; Salieri, Amadeus
George is a graduate of the Royal Conservatorie of Scotland where he earned an MFA in musical theatre and the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver where he earned a BFA in vocal performance. He recently stared in three shows in Scotland including as Billy Bigalow in Carousel, and until Covid, was in the European tour of Les Miserables. George made his film debut in The Outpost staring Scott Eastwood and Orlando Bloom.  "The LHS Theatre Company taught me the importance of commitment, friendship, and professionalism when part of a performing arts company.  I still use the acting tools I developed at Lakewood in my professional career to great success."

Claire Redmond
Memorable Roles:  Venticelli, Amadeus; Student Director, Jekyll and Hyde and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Claire studied English Education at CSU and works with AmeriCorps and Teach for America.  "Working with the LHS Theatre Company taught me that you often don't know what you can do until you try it.  Leadership is learned on the job.  This, as part of my liberal arts education, has made me a more empathetic person, a more eloquent speaker, and a person who understands the significant psychological contribution every person makes to a production."

2009

Christopher Meeds
Memorable Roles:  Bela Zangler, Crazy for You; Student Director, Noises Off

A graduate of CU Boulder, Chris works for AEG as a concert promoter and is based out of LA. Before Covid, Chris was a tour manager with the company.  "I would say my favorite memory was student directing where I got first hand experience in putting together a show, from start to end.  It was awesome dealing with all of the details rather than just one factor.  That experience was the foundation for every show that I now put together."

Taylor Rascher
Memorable Roles:  Phillip Lombard, And Then There Were None; Lloyd Dallas, Noises Off

Taylor earned a Bachelor's degree in  acting and creative writing from the University of Arizona.  He lived in Washington DC where one of his scripts was accepted for the DC Fringe Festival.  Currently, he resides in Arizona and is working real estate. "One thing I have taken away from Lakewood is a sense of unconfined passion for what I do.  Theatre meant everything to me in high school, it was my sense of identity.  I always find it comforting to think back to my time in the theatre at LHS and the amazing people I shared the stage with, since all of that lead me to choose to do this for the rest of my life."

Travis Weisse
Memorable Roles: Steve/Earl/Man #2, You Have the Right to Remain Dead; Axel McGee, Don/t Drink the Water
Travis is currently pursuing his second master's degree and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University in three years with a double major in Theatre and Philosophy of Science. He is also actively involved in developing theater education in rural Nicaragua. He recently won the Alfred P. Stiernotte Memorial Prize in Philosophy. He is currently a history lecturer at Marist College in New York. "Beyond acting, directing and script analysis, the most crucial element I learned from LHS Theatre Company was how to be a leader and simultaneously how to be a team player. The amount that these skills have improved my life is unquantifiable. There is not a single moment of my experience in this program that I will be likely to forget."

Nicole Conlan
Memorable Roles: Marion Hollander, Don't Drink the Water; writer, IB Theatre Project Kathakali Faust
A graduate of NYU and active in the comedy and improv scene in New York, Nicole is currently an Emmy nominated writer for the Late Show with Stephen Colbert show. She was formerly a video producer at SB Nation. She traces some of her career success to her experiences in improv, saying "it's the most fun you'll ever have."



2007

Antonio Domenick
Memorable Roles: Gaston, Beauty and the Beast; Reverend Brown, Inherit the Wind
Tony graduated from the Lamont School of Music at Denver University.  He currently resides in Berkley, California where he's an assistant music director at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and is pursuing his passion of music.  He was a music director for both Les Miserables and Young Frankenstein at LHS. "The Thespian Conference in 2006. The surprise victory party in my hotel room was thoughtful and totally awesome. I'll never forget walking in, expecting to go to bed, and instead finding 40 people in my room. I got a lot of great acting, directing, and writing experience in the program that has continued to serve me well in all the different things I do today. I don't think I could've asked for a better foundation to build upon."

Phoebe Sharp
Memorable Roles: Polly Baker, Crazy For You; Dance Captain, Beauty and the Beast
Phoebe recently graduated from Belmont University, first in her class, with a BA in Songwriting and Music Business. She lives in Nashville and is pursuing her passion of music, under the stage name Adara.  Check her out at @adaramusic.

Brandon Palmer
Memorable Roles: Justice Wargrave, And Then There Were None; Harry the Horse, Guys and Dolls
Brandon is a successful local actor in Denver.  Since graduating from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a degree in Theatre and Psychology, he has acted in, directed, written and produced plays.  He was also a co-owner of Ripple Effect Theatre Company and recently appeared in You Can't Take it With You at Miner's Alley in Golden. He's currently working on a book commemorating the history of the Boulder Dinner Theatre's 40th Anniversary, set for publication in the summer of 2017.

Rollie Williams
Memorable Roles: Nicely Nicely Johnson, Guys and Dolls; Clete, You Have the Right to Remain Dead
Rollie currently resides in Brooklyn, NY where he is working the improv and comedy scene.  He graduated from Puget Sound University with a degree in Biochemistry and Theater. He was involved in a number of improv, standup, and sketch comedy groups in Denver including On The Spot, Governor Jack Comedy, the Fillers, Revolver Comedy, Skintight Outrage, and SuperBaby before making the move to NYC to pursue comedy. "I took away confidence in myself on a stage. The audience can pick up on doubt and I think they want to see commitment to your role more than anything else."

Daniel Henningsen
Memorable Roles: Barnaby Tucker, Hello Dolly; Nathan Detroit, Guys and Dolls
Danny is currently a casting producer for High Noon Entertainment and works in both Denver and LA.  Several years ago he appeared in a national ad for Best Buy. In addition, he served as the membership coordinator for the International 3D Society, founded by the president of the Academy of Television Arts of Sciences - an organization that give out awards to 3D major motion pictures and technology. "All glory comes from daring to begin. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Give everything and everybody a shot. Take risks."


2005

Royce Wood 
Memorable Roles: Mr. Gilbreth in Cheaper by the Dozen; Glen Cooper, Rumors
A 2009 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Royce earned his BA in Acting. He is a full time local actor and writer, appearing on various stages in the area including the Curious Theatre.  He has performed with several improv comedy groups at the Bovine Metropolis Theater and Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, most notably Makeshift Shakespeare and Hot Nap. In 2010, he was a finalist in Denver's Next Improv Star. He recently published a script for young actors that is currently being produced by schools around the country. "The feeling of excitement, togetherness, and magic the cast gets backstage right before and during a performance called 'chespah."
