Ten Lakewood High School students competed in Colorado State University (CSU) Math Day. CSU Math Day attracts 300 to 400 of the best high school math students from Colorado and neighboring states for a day of mathematics competition. A highlight of the day is a college-bowl-style competition which features a full, double-elimination tournament with 3-member teams from 64 schools.

 
The students represented Lakewood well and made it to a 5th round of the competition.
