SENIOR PANO PHOTOS:

The Class of 2026 took their Senior Panorama Photo last week before the Homecoming picnic. You can purchase the photo on the Parent Portal, where you pay student fees (OPT-Pano), or directly through the company website. https://fullfield.com/ If you would like to order from the school, the deadline is November 15th.

JOSTENS INFO/CAP AND GOWN:

We’re officially kicking off the graduation season! Next week, on October 27th, during Tiger Time, our seniors will attend a meeting with Nils Erickson from Jostens, where they will receive important information about graduation, including how to order caps & gowns, official school announcements, senior rings, letter jackets, and more.

*To receive their caps and gowns, students must complete their counseling surveys, return their Chromebooks and clear all outstanding fines and fees.

Outstanding Student Fees and Fines

Caps and gowns will not be distributed to Senior students unless all fees and fines have been paid for all four years of high school.

Please also be aware that our financial secretary, Ms. Stefanich, will be busy on the day of Senior Checkout, working with students and families who are in the building for checkout. Skip the line, pay your fees and fines in advance!

Those needing to view or pay student fines and fees can log in to Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Verify the student is listed, then click the green arrow to go to the payment screen.

Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

Lakewood High School’s Class of 2026 graduation ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at CU Boulder Events Center. Important: Graduates are to report at 9:00 a.m. to prepare for the ceremony.

There are no tickets required for this event. Students are welcome to invite as many family members and friends as they would like.

Graduation Rehearsal

Necessary: All students who plan to participate in graduation at the CU Events Center must attend rehearsal to prepare for the ceremony the next day.

Mandatory Graduation rehearsal will take place at 10:00 am on May 15th in the LHS main gym. Students do NOT need to bring or wear their caps and gowns for this event. They need to be prompt so we can complete rehearsal in a reasonable amount of time! You are excused if you have an AP/IB test or if you are approved to miss by Ms. Hart!! If you are not present, we will take your name off of the graduation list and you will not have a seat assignment!

Yearbook

Attention Class of 2026! The deadline for senior yearbook items will be here before you know it. Yearbook items are due October 31st. NO LATE ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If you are planning to take professional photos with one of our preferred photographers, be sure to contact them ASAP as they serve many schools in the area and book up quickly.

After October 31st, yearbook pricing increases, so place your order today!

Caps & Gowns

To receive their caps and gowns, students must complete their counseling surveys, return their Chromebooks and clear all outstanding fines and fees.

If you have questions for Jostens or need to order your cap and gown, please call Jostens at 1 (800) 567-8367 or visit Josten's online.

Graduation Fee DOES NOT cover Cap & Gown. You must order a cap and gown separately.

Fines and fees

All fines and fees must be cleared and books and materials returned in order to pick up cap and gown after graduation rehearsal. Fines and fees can be paid on Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please contact Anna Stefanich with finance questions.

Ceremony Expectations

Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

May 16, 2026, 10:00 a.m. @ CU Events Center

●Seniors must arrive by 9:00 a.m. to prepare for the ceremony and go directly to the practice gym through the hallway after they enter the GRADUATES entrance. If the grads enter through other entrances, it will be hard for them to find the practice gym!!

Graduates will receive their official diplomas in the practice gym after graduation, where they assemble before the ceremony.

● Graduates must wear their black caps and gowns. They cannot decorate their caps and only wear sashes, cords, and medals provided by the school, which and/or in compliance with Jeffco Board Policy. Seniors should ask Ms. Hart questions about this policy before they arrive on May 16th. Graduating seniors who wear additional recognitions that do not comply with Jeffco Board Policy must remove the item.

● As you prepare for the ceremony, we expect seniors to celebrate this significant achievement by dressing appropriately. They should wear clothing and shoes that are both comfortable and respectful, in line with a dress code that upholds the dignity of the graduation ceremony. Seniors, think about what you want to be wearing in your high school graduation photos!

● Families and friends DO NOT need tickets, and parking is free. There is no limit on the number of friends and family members a graduate can invite.

● Interpretation will be available in ASL and Spanish. Please check in at the table at the Northwest Entrance.

● Friends and family who wish to take pictures or videos of the ceremony must remain in the seating area. No one will be allowed on the floor.

● As we come together to celebrate the Class of 2026, please remember that this is a school activity, and all Jeffco Public Schools’ Code of Conduct rules apply and will be enforced.

● CU has a STRICT clear bag policy. Review the information so you will not have to return to your car! All seniors and guests will pass through security and metal detectors.

● Review the parking and seating information. Graduates and guests do NOT enter through the same doors.

Please remember that everyone who enters CU Events Center passes through a metal detector.
