BRANSON NYC HIGH SCHOOL FASHION SUMMER CAMPS:
We offer two NYC Fashion Summer Camps for high school students. They are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach the students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider's perspective. The students will stay at a college Residence Hall or hotel with a residence advisor. Each morning the group will be picked up at the dorm/hotel by a Banson NYC representative. From there we will depart for our industry visits, seminars and activities of the day. Each evening will have group activities planned. Enrollment is limited to 20 campers per session. We accept applications on a first come, first served basis.

The cost is $2075.00 per student or $1875.00 per student if they register with a friend.

Session A: June 18, 2023 - June 24, 2023

Session B: July 9, 2023 - July 15, 2023

CAMP EMBER:
The camp is a 4-day, 3-night camp offered to young women ages 16-18. The camp is free and includes training, mentorship from female firefighters, lodging, transportation between training events, and meals. This is a great opportunity for young women who are interested in a career in firefighting and/or EMS.


DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE TEEN SCHOLARS:
Teen Science Scholars complete hands-on summer internships with Science Division staff at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Teen interns strengthen their investigative and communication skills, develop a peer network of students from across the state of Colorado.  Application deadline is March 13, 2023.

LAUNCHX SUMMER PROGRAM: Entrepreneurship Summer Program
Our summer program taps into your potential as an ambitious high school student, supporting you through the process of launching an actual startup.

We bring a highly curated group of promising young entrepreneurs together from around the globe. You’ll learn from industry experts and work in a group of peer co-founders to build real products and solve business challenges in meaningful and viable ways.


SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN LATINO: YOUNG AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

The Young Ambassadors Program (YAP) is a nationally recognized program for graduating high school seniors that fosters the next generation of community-conscious Latino leaders in the arts, sciences, and humanities via the Smithsonian Institution and its resources.

TRANSPORTATION AND CONSTRUCTION GIRL: CAREER WEEK FOR GIRLS SUMMER CAMP
At Career Week for GIRLs - over one week, girls – ranging from 13 to 23 years old – make five stops to engage with women, ask questions and tour work sites. Each company puts together a day long insight into their company and into the industry. Here are just a few salaries in the industry: Brick Mason $80,000; Project Coordinator $90,000; Estimator $75,000-$90,000; Architect $75,000; Electrician $58,000; Drone Operator $82,000 and Tower Crane Operator $77,000. And, these are just starting salaries.

BELOIT COLLEGE:
We invite you to learn more about Beloit College’s stellar summer programs for students 16 years of age and older.

We offer a fun, transformative, and enriching immersion on our beautiful campus where your students can get a taste of a world-class residential liberal arts education.


Students in the Center for Language Studies can spend 3.5 weeks or 7 weeks on campus (earning 4 or 8 semester credit hours), immersed in one of our four language offerings: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian. CLS is an intensive, college-level program for committed language students including upper-level high school students, college students, and professionals.

Students in our Summer Academy are introduced to the liberal arts experience through a 2-week deep dive into a rich topic (earning 1 semester credit hour), such as this summer's focus, “Keepin’ it Real: Fakes, Forgeries and Fantasies and the Quest for Authenticity.” Summer Academy is appropriate for rising high school juniors and seniors achieving success in a college preparatory curriculum. 


BOSTON UNIVERSITY SUMMER JOURNALISM ACADEMY
For 13 years, our program has taught high school students in-person and virtually core skills in news reporting, interviewing, and writing, focusing on hands-on experience in and around Boston and their home communities. Taught by award-winning working journalists such as Pulitzer Prize winner Lara Salahi and Rochelle Sharpe, students learn how to follow facts and get to the heart of stories affecting communities. 

We challenge students to step outside their comfort zone – and experience life as a working journalist. In the past, our students spoke with policymakers, reported from a massive immigration march, and highlighted issues affecting teens during the pandemic. They learned how to interview strangers, ask probing questions and assemble it in a concise story on deadline.

Students learn practical skills during their sessions and will receive a taste of how a newsroom operates.


BROWN UNIVERSITY: PRE COLLEGE
Brown Pre-College provides academically motivated 9th through 12th grade students the chance to immerse themselves in the challenges and opportunities of the college experience. Students can choose to study at our historic campus, located in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island, online or at locations across the United States and around the globe. Wherever they choose to study, Brown Pre-College students explore a variety of academic interests and fuel their passion for learning at an Ivy League institution that values and respects student voices and is known for embracing independent thinkers. Brown Pre-College students will experience the rigors of college-level classes, studying alongside peers from around the world who are just as motivated and curious. With over 300 course options, both on campus and online, as well as in locations around the world, our students find a course that engages their potential in a program that mirrors Brown’s Open Curriculum.


BUCKNELL ACADEMY SUMMER EXPERIENCE (BASE)
At BASE, the Bucknell Academy Summer Experience, rising high school juniors and seniors spend a week living like a college student.

You'll stay in our residence halls, attend classes taught by Bucknell professors and develop problem-solving skills designed to help you make an impact on the world.

BASE participants join Bucknell faculty and students to find innovative solutions to pressing issues. Perhaps you'll team up with environmental engineers and global managers to create better technology for clean water. Or maybe you'll collaborate with performing artists and biomedical engineers to reimagine prosthetics used by actors or musicians.


CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY: PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS
For over 100 years, Carnegie Mellon has offered students unique and hands-on educational programs from the fine arts to technology and everything in between. Through Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Programs, rising juniors and seniors in high school have the opportunity to experience a world-class education on a beautiful, vibrant college campus. Our programs prepare them for their upcoming college experience, help them narrow their career focus, and build critical knowledge and skills.


CLARKSON UNIVERSITY: HORIZONS PROGRAM
The Clarkson University Horizons program's mission is to drive genuine and inclusive culture change for middle and high school students from all backgrounds. Our aim is to provide tools to help our participants excel in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) and attend college well prepared to pursue employment or advanced degrees and eventually assume leadership roles in STEAM.

Through fun and challenging hands-on projects, the Horizons curriculum uses an integrated instructional module in mathematics, science and engineering that is supported by the arts and technology. We believe in a holistic approach to education. Additionally, it is important to foster growth and balance in the life of a participant in every course. Thus, the life skills component further enhances instruction as participants build confidence, personal insight, leadership skills and team spirit in an emotionally supported learning environment. 

At Horizons, participants are taught by a diverse staff of educators. Our young guests are mentored by program assistants who are undergraduate or graduate college students who excel in STEAM disciplines. Group sizes are small so that each participant has the opportunity to form a lasting relationship with staff and peers.


COLORADO HEALTH CAREERS ACADEMY:

Students will gain knowledge on health career opportunities, will become self-aware of their aptitudes and interests, and will obtain direct experience in the industry through virtual and in-person formats

COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES: SUMMER MULTICULTURAL ENGINEERING TRAINING (SUMMET)

The Summer Multicultural Engineering Training (SUMMET) program is an engineering, science and technology program designed for rising juniors and seniors who are from underrepresented populations, including ethnic/racial minority, women and prospective first-generation college students. 

SUMMET combines course work, hands-on projects, industry tours, team building activities and and social events. SUMMET provides exposure to the lifestyle, opportunities and challenges of college and is designed to help build skills and experiences for a smooth transition from high school to college. SUMMET is a one-week residential program, allowing participants to live on campus for the duration of the program, experience life as a college student and participate in STEM related curriculum instruction.

This program is available at no cost to participants, with the exception of a $50 confirmation fee for students accepted into the program. Transportation to and from the program is not included in the cost and is currently the responsibility of participants. 

We have three opportunities for you to attend SUMMET this year:

June 4 - June 9, 2023
June 11 - June 16, 2023
June 25 - June 30, 2023

COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY: CYBERSECURITY CAMP
We are recruiting participants for a free weeklong non-residential cyber security summer camp for students in grades 9-12 at CSU June 12-16, Summer Cybersecurity Camp 2023 (Email: [email protected], Social: @csucybercamp). The camp will run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm on each day. Students will learn about various cyber security concepts such as symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, network and cyber-physical systems security, blockchains, and consensus mechanisms. They will have opportunities of engaging in hand-on activities.  There is no cost to attend the summer camp, and we will provide daily snacks and lunch.


COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN BUSINESS
In this five day, non-residential camp, students will explore current technologies (e.g. VR, AR, AI, Robots, Mobile Apps) through hands-on activities and games and learn about their use and impact on business. The program is free of charge and includes daily lunch and snacks. It will be held June 19 - 23, 9am to 3pm in Rockwell Hall West. Application link.


COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY: GIRLS GET MATH

Registration is now open for GirlsGetMath@CSU, a free weeklong, non-residential summer math camp in the Department of Mathematics at CSU! The camp will run June 5-9 from approximately 9am-4:30pm each day. Students will explore a variety of topics in mathematics (such as cryptography, data science, image processing, geometry, fractals, and graph theory) in a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where they engage with hands-on activities and computer labs. During the camp, students will also take a campus tour, eat lunch in dining halls, and hear from successful women in STEM careers. New this year, GirlsGetMath@CSU will devote time at the end of each day for fun, social activities (such as visiting the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery) to build community and develop students’ confidence by focusing on team-building abilities and leadership skills. There is no cost to attend the summer camp, and we will provide all materials, daily snacks, lunch, and a camp t-shirt.

COLUMBIA CLIMATE SCHOOL: PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS
The Columbia Climate School and Putney Student Travel collaborate annually to offer The Columbia Climate School in the Green Mountains and Columbia Climate Corps experiences. These programs are designed and operated by Putney Student Travel, a family-run organization that has provided transformative travel programs for young people since 1951.

These programs are designed for motivated high school students who are curious and passionate about the world around them. Whether in the U.S. or abroad, Putney Student Travel programs combine pre-college enrichment and travel, taking you beyond the standard summer class model.

CONSTRUCTOR UNIVERSITY: SUMMER CAMP (International Experience)
The Summer Camp 2023 is a 12-day program where students can expand their knowledge in programming, mathematics and the German language, as well as enjoy lab tours and visits to local companies and more.

CORNELL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING: SUMMER PROGRAMS

CATALYST
Academy is a one-week residential program for rising high school juniors and seniors who desire to learn about engineering in the context of an authentic college experience.
CURIE Academy is a one-week residential program for high school girls, specifically rising juniors and seniors, who desire to learn about engineering in the context of an authentic college experience.


CORNELL UNIVERSITY'S PRECOLLEGE SUMMER PROGRAM
Rigorous online courses taught by top Cornell faculty. As one of the nation's longest running and most highly regarded precollege academic programs, it gives motivated students the chance to:

*Get a head start on their college journey while earning 3 to 8 credits
*Build college study skills during engaging Ivy League classes
*Prep for college applications with one-on-one admissions counseling
*Enhance their college applications with an impressive Cornell transcript
*Have fun connecting with diverse students from around the world

Students choose from dozens of three- and six-week online undergraduate Cornell courses in the arts, business and hospitality, international relations, science and technology, veterinary medicine, and more. More courses will be added in the coming months.

Courses are offered between May 30 and August 1, 2023. Limited financial aid is available.


DENNISON UNIVERSITY: REYNOLDS YOUNG WRITERS WORKSHOP
The workshop is an eight-day residential program that incorporates small creative writing workshops, group sessions with Denison creative writing faculty and notable visiting writers, and much more.

Only 48 students get the chance to come to The Hill to participate each June. That means students experience small, intimate writing workshops and one-on-one interactions with people who have made writing their career. It's a great way to connect with a close-knit community of writing teachers, mentors, and peers from around the world.

DENNISON UNIVERSITY: SUMMER TUTTI
 
We’re excited to introduce our new 8-day residential summer high school intensive in dancemusic, and theatre. At Summer TUTTI, students live and learn with peers from across the disciplines and across the country. They’ll deepen their skills and talents in their chosen area while exploring new ways of making art, guided by Denison professors as well as nationally-acclaimed professional artists and ensembles, Third Coast Percussion, string quartet ETHEL, and members from Available Light Theatre.

We welcome dancers (all styles), instrumentalists (strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, and percussion), composers, and students interested in all aspects of theatre-making (acting, directing, designing). Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders are eligible to apply. Financial support is available for families with need. This year’s program runs from June 24 to July 1, 2023


DRAKE UNIVERSITY: BullD.O.G.S. IN HEALTHCARE:
Drake University's BullD.O.G.S. in Healthcare camp will introduce you to careers in the health professions. You will get to participate in hands-on laboratory experiences, educational sessions, and interactive discussions with students and faculty in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to understand how to best prepare for a career in healthcare. Plus, with both in-person and virtual options available, you can participate safely in our overnight on-campus event, or from the comfort of your own home!

INDIANA UNIVERSITY: PRECOLLEGE ACADEMY
The IU Precollege Academy gives rising high school seniors from diverse backgrounds a chance to see themselves in a college space and provides tools to help with the college search and application process. This exclusive event offers students a week-long residential experience on the beautiful IU Bloomington campus.

Students will stay in a residence hall, connect with faculty and staff, have fun with other students heading into their senior year, and have a chance to ask all their questions. The program will allow them to build college readiness, start exploring career options, and experience campus life.

There is no cost to attend the IU Precollege Academy. Space is limited and interested students are expected to have a minimum 3.0 GPA and will need to submit a short application—applications are due by Sunday, April 30. Students will receive confirmation via email. If the program reaches capacity, students will be offered the opportunity to join a waitlist.


JOHNS HOPKINS ENGINEERING INNOVATION PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS

KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY: FINANCIAL PLANNING ACADEMY
The Department of Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University is excited to host the Financial Planning Academy funded by Charles Schwab Foundation, July 16-21, 2023!

This program will provide high school students with an exciting week on K-State's Manhattan campus, where they will deepen their understanding of personal finance and the profession of financial planning. While here, students will interact with local financial experts and further develop their skills in leadership, communication, team building, entrepreneurship, marketing and more.

During the week, students will:

Collaborate with fellow participants on a case study
Take part in team-building challenges
Develop a financial plan
Compete for scholarships and prizes
Meet other students with an interest in financial planning or a business-related career

LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE ACTUARIAL SCIENCE CAMP:
Our Actuarial Science Summer Camps are week-long intensive programs for rising high school seniors designed to help them decide if they’re interested in actuarial careers.

LVC has had a successful Actuarial Science Program for more than 50 years, and we’ve run this summer camp for more than three decades. Leveraging industry connections and alumni suggestions, we’ve forged an authentic experience that features interaction with actuaries and an introduction to relevant software and content.

In the summer of 2023, we will have two one-week long camps:

July 9–14, 2023

During the week, students live on campus in a residence hall with Resident Assistants who are current LVC students. Students eat their meals in the Allan W. Mund College Center.


MIAMI UNIVERSITY: SUMMER SCHOLARS PROGRAM
The Summer Scholars Program is a week-long summer experience for high-achieving high school students who will be juniors or seniors the following fall. This program provides experiential learning opportunities that will prepare you for college and future success. The Summer Scholars curriculum is built for active learners. Students participate in lively discussions, hands-on projects, and real-world experiences with our faculty. The 2023 Summer Scholars program will take place over two sessions: 



NEW YORK UNIVERSITY (NYU):

Precollege:  NYU Precollege offers high schoolers the opportunity to experience life as an NYU student, earn college credits toward a future degree, and immerse themselves in the dynamic, global community that is New York University. Take undergraduate courses in a wide range of academic subjects taught by NYU's world class faculty. Explore a possible future major or discover a new academic interest, all while engaging with NYU classmates from around the world.

College Access Leadership Institute: The College Access Leadership Institute (CALI) is a summer program designed to help rising high school juniors and seniors navigate the college admissions process. Led by NYU Admissions counselors, CALI is a series of intensive workshops and seminars that prepare you to apply for and succeed at college.


NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY: BOSTON ACCELERATE PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS:
Our Summer 2023 Boston Campus programs give talented high school rising juniors and seniors from around the world the opportunity to participate in immersive, experiential programs with acclaimed Northeastern faculty members right on our Boston campus. Our residential Boston campus programs are taught by our internationally acclaimed faculty, allowing you to experience true collegiate learning in a world-class environment. Students gain extensive, hands-on, experiential education in subjects including engineering, health sciences, ethics & emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and more. PRATT PRECOLLEGE
Engage in rigorous college-level courses as a high school student and earn elective college credits accepted at Pratt and most other universities . Modeled after Pratt Institute’s undergraduate offerings in art, design, architecture, and writing and taught by Pratt faculty, PreCollege courses immerse students in the creative process. PreCollege students are connected with a vibrant community of like-minded young people developing their skills and individual voice.

PreCollege students:

-Explore undergraduate majors and discover the Pratt experience.
-Develop proficiency in a variety of tools, materials, and techniques.
-Create work that can be used in a college admissions portfolio.
-Earn elective college credits while working with Pratt faculty in specialized facilities.


RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: PREFACE

PREFACE is a summer program for talented students who have been historically under-represented in science, engineering, and the technological fields, and who express a strong, early interest in pursuing careers in these areas. This year’s program will take place in-person, Sunday, July 23 through Saturday, August 5 2023 (2 weeks), on the Rensselaer campus in Troy, NY. 


RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: ARCHITECTURE CAREER DISCOVERY PROGRAMS
This two-week class is designed to expose students to a high-quality undergraduate architecture program. The core of this course is studio work.

High school students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grade in the fall who are interested in future careers in architecture or design-related fields and curious about the world are encouraged to apply. The first week of the course will focus on building models and making drawings by hand. The second week will focus on using the computer as a design tool. Students will learn 3D modeling in Rhinoceros, 2D drawing, and image editing in Adobe Creative Suite.

STEVENS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is offering a paid virtual summer research program for high school students. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as management, leadership or finance.  The final assignment will include a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. The program will run from July 1, 2023, through August 12, 2023, and students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program. 

Eligibility: Applicants must currently be in their junior year of high school (no exceptions).

Deadline: Applications are due by March 1, 2023.

Notification: Applicants will be notified by April 1, 2023. 

The application packet will include all of the following:

  • 1-page essay in which you describe yourself and detail what you hope to gain from this experience 
  • a copy of your current resume 
  • a copy of your unofficial high school transcript

SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY: PRE COLLEGE PROGRAMS
For more than 60 years Syracuse University’s Office of Pre-College Programs has been giving high school students the opportunity to explore potential college majors and careers in its renowned pre-college programs. Students not only learn about what it’s like to be a college student, they leave the program with more confidence, enthusiasm and a sense of being ready for college. Students can choose from over 100 courses in one of our six pre-college programs.


UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO: SUMMER SESSION

The University of Chicago’s summer pre-college programs draw from the multidisciplinary emphasis and intellectual richness of the College’s Core curriculum. We offer a variety of courses in diverse subject areas and engagement levels that match any motivated high school student. For Summer 2023, we will host both residential programs and online courses, including:
  • Enrichment Programs: With enhanced financial support to cover program costs, talented and motivated students have the opportunity to reside on campus and benefit from co-curricular programming to prepare them for the highly selective admissions process while learning about topics like economics, freedom of expression, leadership, or quantum physics. Some programs seek a nomination from a teacher or counselor.
  • Immersion: Through workshop discussions, research projects, and other activities, students live on campus and immerse themselves within a specific topic through three-week-long undergraduate-level courses for pre-college students designed by UChicago faculty and instructors. Course subjects include astrophysics, biotechnology, coding, data science, economics, literature, molecular engineering, political science, psychology, and more.
  • Summer Language Institute: Through this online program, students can learn an entire year of a language in one summer! Whether they want to continue learning a language or pick up a new one, the Summer Language Institute is a great way to delve deeply into another culture and another world and acquire a useful skill. With over 10 languages offered at varying levels, students are sure to find a language that speaks to them.
Outside of the Enrichment Programs, all Summer Session students can apply for need-based financial aid. Enrolled Summer Session students can participate in the Admissions Academy, a series of workshops that focus on the holistic admissions process to provide insights on admissions to highly selective colleges and universities and offer essay writing tips. Students should apply by March 1st for the best selection of courses! 


UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, DENVER 2023 LYNX NATIONAL ARTS & MEDIA CAMPS
The LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are summer immersion programs for high school students interested in music and the arts hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus and sponsored by the CU Denver College of Arts & Media. The camps are designed to provide students with an educational preview of the college programs offered in the College of Arts & Media while also providing students with an inspiring and memorable summer camp experience. They host high school students from many different states and countries at the camps which enables a diverse and enriching experience as students bond over a shared passion for the arts.


UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON: HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CAMPS

Summer Engineering Experiences at UD (SEE-UD)

SEE-UD camps offered by our School of Engineering provide students with an opportunity to explore the diverse fields of engineering through collaborative and interactive faculty-led sessions. This four-day, three-night camp will introduce students to career opportunities in engineering and engineering technology, and offer a clear picture of what it’s like to be an engineer. Students will also experience living on a college campus and learn about the college admission process.

*Co-Ed Engineering Camp - June 21-24

SEE-UD experiences are open to students with a 3.0 high school GPA. The cost per camp is $465, and a nonrefundable $100 deposit is due at registration. A limited amount of financial assistance is available and will be granted based on need.

Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) Summer Program

FABS is an overnight summer camp program offered by UD’s School of Business Administration that provides young women a weeklong (June 25-30) introduction to business and the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge to research, design and pitch a business plan. They’ll also have a chance to network with faculty, staff and community business professionals while earning three hours of college credit.

The cost for the FABS Summer Program is $500, with an early bird rate of $450 through March 31. A nonrefundable $100 deposit is due at registration. Our registration deadline is May 15. This camp has a limited capacity and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.


UNVERSITY OF DENVER: PIONEER PREP LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
Pio Prep Leadership Institute brings together excelling students who identify as Black/African American and/or Latinx!

These dynamic three days and two nights will be jam-packed with high quality workshops, leadership building activities, opportunities to better understand the college application process, exploration of personal identity, and engagement with DU administrators and current students. By the end of the program, your students will not only be welcomed into the DU community, but also supported by a constellation of different advisors striving to help them attain their educational goals.

*There is an opportunity to attend an additional two days of programming hosted by the Daniels College of Business for students interested in learning about degrees, careers and current topics in business on July 17-18.

The West Point Summer Leader Experience (SLE) provides rising high school seniors with a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of a cadet.
