At Lakewood High School (LHS), Tiger Athletics is all about school spirit, teamwork, and personal growth. Our student-athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, build lasting friendships, and balance athletics with strong academic values—creating a rewarding high school experience both on and off the field.
T-I-G-E-R-S
LHS athletics has two goals:
- Each student-athlete has an incredible experience that produces their competitive best while preparing them for the next steps in life.
- To develop the most elite athletic school in Colorado, focusing on individual and team success and revered as the pinnacle of athletic excellence.
LHS is dedicated to bringing out memorable moments for student-athletes, and pride ourselves in having the best coaches in Jeffco. LHS coaching staff is built on the philosophy of T-I-G-E-R-S: Teamwork, Inclusion, Grit, Excellence, Respect and Service.
LHS is a special school with opportunities for students to reach their fullest capabilities, supported by a staff that understands the value of athletic participation in lifelong success.

Jeffco Athletic Fee
The district athletic fee is $185. It will be posted to Infinite Campus accounts the week after practice or tryouts begin. Log on at that time to pay fees.
Students who qualify for the Free and Reduced-Priced Lunch Program do not need to pay the $185 fee; however, they must still pay any team fees. This fee is separate from any booster or team fees.

Jeffco Public Schools offers every sport that is sanctioned by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA).
