About Me:  This is my 21st year as a social studies teacher. I love teaching economics because I firmly believe it is the most important course you will take in high school. I received the Colorado Council for Economic Education Enterprising Teacher of the Year award in 2010, the National Council of the Social Studies Secondary Teacher of the Year award in 2015, and became a fellow for NextGen Personal Finance in 2018. In addition to working hard at Lakewood, I also have a wonderful husband and two elementary-aged daughters.
