COLLEGE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION:

UNITED STATES COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES:

8 of the Best Colleges:
We represent eight nationally recognized liberal arts colleges throughout the country: Claremont McKenna College, Colorado College, Connecticut College, Grinnell College, Haverford College, Kenyon College, Macalester College, and Sarah Lawrence College.

Each of these highly selective residential colleges has something distinctive to offer. As a group, we place great value on student-faculty interaction, small classes, and challenging curricula.

These colleges send a high percentage of graduates on to graduate and professional schools, and count among their alumnae/i leaders in virtually every field.

Each fall and spring, our deans and directors of admission present group programs for prospective students and their parents around the country. The programs include presentations on each of the colleges, as well as general information on the selective college admissions process and financial aid. There is also an opportunity to meet the representatives and ask questions about each college individually. Learn more here.

14 on the 14th: Liberal Arts College Across the U.S.
Starting October 14 and continuing each month until December 14, fourteen liberal arts and sciences colleges across the U.S. will come together with current students and alumni to offer you fifteen minutes of tips for your college application process followed by an hour-long virtual college fair.

Cal State Apply Information Sessions:
As the college application season rolls on in earnest, Vanessa Gonsalves (Cal Poly Humboldt), Leann Schmitz (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo), and Brian Zaun (San Diego State University) invite you and your students to a Cal State Apply information session to learn about  applying to “the other CSU."

·  Wednesday, October 26 from 6 - 7 pm | Shillinglaw Lecture Center at Creek High School, 9300 E Union Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80111

·  Thursday, November 17 from 6 - 7 pm | Columbine Library, 7706 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123

Exploring College Options:
Exploring College Options is a special informational program sponsored by the undergraduate admissions offices of five of the country's leading universities: Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University. Representatives from each university will present information about their institution, discuss the application process, and answer questions on how to put together a strong and reflective application. Each program will end with breakout sessions where representatives will answer questions about their specific school and the application process. This fall, we are offering both in-person and virtual programs, with each program featuring the same content.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS

International College Options (ICO):
A non-profit organization, directed by a volunteer board of high school counselors with years of experience in college advising that seeks to educate U.S. students, families and counselors on options for full degree international studies. They offer various events and resources.
